Always intersting,the players not making the first team play in it.
Then players like gant flower who only plays one dayers.
Usually a lot of foreign players play like luke towers and sam robson last year.
Then you have players making the grade from acadmies and the districts making their name in 2nd xl cricket.
Should be of greater interest this year as it will trial a 40 over game that has 2 innings of 20 overs,will be interested how this turns out.
Will be also interested who turns out for the mcc side this year.
Its funny so many foreign players end up playing for the counties during the year like masden last year for derbyshire.
