    Left out of Cricket?

Left hander's are on the verge of being banned from International cricket:

New proposals mean lefties are in danger of missing the World Cup | Mike Selvey | Sport | The Guardian
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.

Damn you, it took me a while of reading the article before realising, but my excuse is was it was only just after midnight - was hoping it'd catch a few people out on here though.

There was a great one in Cricinfo around a decade back which IIRC claimed that statisticians had found a way to adjust Bradman's average to 100 after all. Got me quite excited for a few moments.

I love the fact this is now referenced on Hanson's wikipedia page. I wonder how long it'll last...

In March 2010, the band announced plans to launch a re-working of MmmBop - entitled 'RavBop' in tribute to Indian Premier League star Ravi Bopara.
Come on now, who's responsible for that?

    - As featured in The Independent.

"as much a news event as an actual footballer, a worthy stop-start centre forward, but an all-time hyper-galactico when it comes to doing funny things with cars and hats, a player whose signing proves once again that the Premier League is still undoubtedly the best in the world when it comes to doing things with cars and hats."
