Nothing like Sidhu who just faded away, Ponting is still going strong. In ODI's Ponting also does extremely well when Murali is playing. We are lucky ot see such great players in our lifetime.

Agreed partly, because unlike Warne Murali kept getting him out even after getting pummelled. On a side note, Murali that bowled to Sidhu was much less experienced that Warne that bowled to Sidhu as well. And Murali did not go for run a ball even in scariest of assaults by Sidhu, Azhar and Kapil

Actually my point is if he scored a run a ball off Warne then he must have played at a ridiculously slow rate after Warne before getting out to have his SR drop to half. He never made a hundred when Warne bowled so he must have come out and smacked Warnie for a quick fifty then blocked out 10 or so overs before getting out.
