Mystery Draft 3 - Global Premier League

Agree with Athlai. Gilchrist and Donald for a combined price of 1.5 million sounds like a good bit of business.

Oh, Im not seriously complaining. Just annoyed at myself for not reading the rules. Ive kind of shot myself in the foot. Gilchrist and Donald for that price may look a bargain but in the context of the rules they are bad, bad selections. Obviously only myself to blame. Still, do-over?

GOT KICKED OUT.

Though, i guess have nobody to blame but myself and the circumstances.
Had to go out of station urgently and did not have internet access.

Good luck to you Somerset. You ought to win now.:thumbs_up
Sorry I was under the impression you had withdrawn so thats why I accepted the offer to take your spot. If you'd like it back thats fine and I'll let you continue with your team. At this stage I have Kumble for $100,000 lined up for this round.

Not sure if thats legal tbh though an interesting concept. May allow for trades after round 6 for a day or two.

Is the Jayawardene bidding over?

Not a trade. A purchase. After Rnd 6 may be too late to be useful. As for legal, you tell me :p

Ive noticed a potential probelm that may arise later on. For example, if I already have an Indian player and I get outbidded for my player and the winner has an Indian player then I cant take that player. That could happen repeatedly in the late rounds and leave a team short a player or two or still needing 3 players after the final round. Just a thought.

You bid for two players in your next round if you lose one in the previous and don't take theirs.

I'm going to say no to purchases as this would make an issue similar to the one you just addressed. Player numbers would become problematic.

Will leave trades till after round 6, and it will have to be for a player (and potentially money) as opposed to just money.

It would be unfair now ,that you have started to take my place back.

Good luck with the rest of the draft.:)

Anyone want to get started in the next round? Pothas? Goughy? (though I understand your caution if bidding is still going on for Jayawardene)

Athlai

Yep just noticed that actually.

I'm going to go for Graeme Smith $100,000
