I feel Asian Teams have got the best structure in place than anyother region thus allowing them to develop much faster! I like the current format but prefer much better format: For example:

    Asia Cup, India 2010:
    1) India
    2) Sri Lanka
    3) Pakistan
    4) Bangladesh
    5) Div 1 Winner
    6) Div 1 Runner Up

    ACC Div 1, UAE 2010:
    1) Afghanistan
    2) UAE
    3) Oman
    4) Hong Kong
    5) Div 2 Winner
    6) Div 2 Runner up

    ACC Div 2, Nepal 2009:
    1) Nepal
    2) Singapore
    3) Malaysia
    4) Bahrain
    5) Div 3 Winner
    6) Div 3 Runner Up

    ACC Div 3, Kuwait 2009:
    1) Kuwait
    2) Qatar
    3) Saudi Arabia
    4) Bhutan
    5) Div 4 Winner
    6) Div 4 Runner Up

    ACC Div 4, Thailand 2009:
    1) Maldives
    2) Thailand
    3) Iran
    4) Brunei
    5) China
    6) Myanmar

Promotion & Relegation system... This will be more organized structure! The broadcasting rights should be sold as a complete package
    (Asia Cup + 4 Divs).

    PLS COMMENT!

I can't see anything but an Afghanistan win. From Group A I think Nepal will reach the final despite only being ranked third.

What size crowds will the Kuwaits be anticipating for these matches and will the games have any TV footage?

Change in schedule as Afghanistan played Bhutan today n Bahrain will play Afghanistan on 6th Apr.

Afghanistan crush Bhutan by 393 runs.

This is the reason I prefer much better format:

    Asia Cup:
    1) India
    2) Sri Lanka
    3) Pakistan
    4) Bangladesh
    5) Div 1 Winner
    6) Div 1 Runner Up

    ACC Div 1:
    1) Afghanistan
    2) UAE
    3) Oman
    4) Hong Kong
    5) Div 2 Winner
    6) Div 2 Runner up

    ACC Div 2:
    1) Nepal
    2) Singapore
    3) Malaysia
    4) Bahrain
    5) Div 3 Winner
    6) Div 3 Runner Up

    ACC Div 3:
    1) Kuwait
    2) Qatar
    3) Saudi Arabia
    4) Bhutan
    5) Div 4 Winner
    6) Div 4 Runner Up

    ACC Div 4:
    1) Maldives
    2) Thailand
    3) Iran
    4) Brunei
    5) China
    6) Myanmar

Promotion & Relegation system... This will be more organized structure! The broadcasting rights should be sold as a complete package (Asia Cup + 4 Divs).

ACC trophy elite is becoming real competative tournament with many sides emarging from no where. Except for Bhutan every team looked like beating one an other. Kuwait beating Singapore, Malaysia beaing UAE & almost defeted Afghanistan & Nepal's awesome performance in this tournament. Looks like this tournament sure is gonna be big in next 10 years with fan base increasing in Asia tramendusly ACC trophy Elite could be seen as Euro Cup of soccer in the future. Only thing needed for the tournament is that the finalists qualify for Asia Cup to play the 4 Test nations.

Anyways tomorrow's Semi finals gonna be:
    SF 1 - Nepal V Malaysia
    SF 2 - Afghanistan V Oman/Hong Kong

Personally wanna see Afghanistan V Nepal final just cause of their home grown talent.

Malaysia almost had Nepal's scalp loosing by just 8 runs while Afghanistan once again proved they are the best defeating the defending champions Hong Kong.

Friday's final will see the Clash of the titans - Afghanistan V Nepal both have lot of passionate fans. A new champion on the block to Pick ACC Trophy Elite.

So far this is the best ACC Trophy ever but Just imagine how much better the tournament would have been with Bahrain playing and Qatar or Saudi Arabia playing in-spite of Bhutan. Hope next time it would be even more competitive & with the finalists play in the Asia Cup from next edition atleast!

Even the Asia Cup should be a 8 nation tournament. Event though we may have huge defeats by some teams but they get an exposure which they will never get playing in present structure for 15 years. As cricket has been spreading this would expedite the things. And I have said on so many threads the Asia Cup should be hosted by some associate nation and the Host can have direct qualification. What say all?
