Must admit I had to do a quick Google search to work out these matches are in Nepal.

Is this T20 or OD?

What sort of altitude are these matches being played at?

OD, and around 1200-1400 metres - so nothing worse than playing on the Highveld.

The matches are all held in the Katmandu valley, which is a former lake basin about 900 square kilometres across.

The google satellite images of the valley is ridiculously detailed, too.

Thanks mate. :)

Looking forward to seeing the results. I can't believe USA is all the way down at number 32 in the world

They were forcibly demoted from around 15 to 32 in 2006 following the collapse of their association. Then they lost one match to Jersey on Jersey in 2008 (crashed to 130-odd chasing 221) and failed to promote from that tier. The rankings are a bit poor because it takes much more time to fall down than to rise.

Need a bit of luck to get up from here, obviously, but Afghanistan have shown it's possible. Backing them to reverse their Jersey match on neutral ground.

This was clearly too simple even for the combined wits of CW to mess up in tipping. ;)

The US could still fail against Singapore, though.

So the tournament gets exciting here with 4th day upsets.

Current standing:
1) Nepal
2) USA
3) Singapore
4) Jersey
5) Bahrain
6) Fiji

With Fiji out of the tournament & Nepal almost to Italy. The fight is between Singapore & USA for their spot in the next stage while Bahrain & Jersey fight for preventing relegation. Tomorrow is a imp day!

Final - Nepal V USA
3rd place Play off - Singapore V Bahrain

I'm a bit late, but thanks mate. I had no idea.
