Duleep Trophy 2010 Final

West are chasing 536 to win against South, and need just 51 more with 3 wickets in hand. Yusuf Pathan on 171* off 157 balls

Also, loving the five day games. All Ranji games should be five days too. That and remove the ridiculous first innings points.

Can we merge this into the complete thread? The way this game (and the Ranji final) were played, though, they deserve their own threads. The Ranji and Duleep finals seem to get more comments on the scorebox than the international matches at the same time!

Got to feel for Karthik. He's scored 180 and 150, its almost a given his team is losing this, and Saha's playing for India at Nagpur!

Thats it. 541/7. Highest successful run chase in Indian cricket atleast. Pathan on 210* off 190 balls.

I think it's the highest chase in first class cricket history...anywhere.

It is.

I feel Karthik would feel extremely disappointed here. There is no real reason I can find how Saha could be expected to perform better than Karthik and anyway he was selected as stand in for dhoni so more as a specialist wicketkeeper.

Yeah Mumbai has a huge problem that Baroda does not.

Their players keep getting called to play someone called South Africa (5 for the tour game and tests). So all the rest of their rabble could do was deliver the best bowling performance of the match, a fifty and a wagging tail.
