It's probably just the time but I find a lot of West Indian cricketers from the early 1970s (Bernard Julien, Lawrence Rowe etc.) sport a hairstyle simply unrecogniseable today.

And was taken just 5 years after his Under-19 profile pic. Looking at them without knowledge, you'd tend to guess there was more like 25 years between them than 5.
