    Karen Rolton Retires

Don't know how much attention this is going to get, but thought it deserved a thread since she is a real legend of the game.

    Link

She's been performing very well in the WNCL in the matches I've seen, but has been much slower between the wickets, so this doesn't come as too much of a surprise.

I have no idea why, but I read this thread as "Karen Rolton dies" and was in shock. Especially when I read your comments. Took me until clicking the link to work it out.

I've been in an out of CC three times since this thread was posted, and every time I read it that way initially. Weird.
Sreesanth said, "Next ball he was beaten and I said, 'is this the King Charles Lara? Who is this impostor, moving around nervously? I should have kept my mouth shut for the next ball - mind you, it was a length ball - Lara just pulled it over the church beyond the boundary! He is a true legend."

If she had that record as a male player we'd probably be calling her better than Sobers.

If Sobers had his record as a female, Rolton would still be better, WAG.

In that case, Gillespie has something over Kallis then. Even it was against Bangladesh
