Ranji Trophy Final 2010

Big turn out for a FC game in India after some time. Was a superb contest from what I have heard. Missed out on a great game on a quick wicket. Manish Pandey looks like one for the future.

Thats the best I could get from the net from the game. Mumbai won by 6 runs in the end.

And there was good crowd too according to cricinfo. Pandey better than all coz you get the "Swanneh!" sound if you spell his name right without any modification.

Wow. Just read the score on Cricinfo. Wish I had followed it more closely. We definitely need more pitches like this in first class cricket and tests as well.

Yeah, best Ranji game of my domestic following career tbh. Got so interesting that honestbharani had to text me to watch it. I'm glad he did.

EDIT: Except for AA doing the star turn, of course. Doesn't augur well for the national teams fortunes

Athlai doesn't lie. And he doesn't do sarcasm either, so you know it's true!

AA has had his run. I hope he never ever see Indian dressing room again. However he is invaluable for our domestic batsmen to face some quality pace.

Neo Cricket/Neo Sports have done an excellent job broadcasting domestic games this season. They have broadcast a lot of first class games. Kudos to them.

Why wasn't Rohit Sharma playing?

I suppose he hasn't returned from the ODI tour that just got over in Bangladesh.
