*Official* Tri-Nation ODI Series in Bangladesh

Lostman

State Captain
It raises some questions about the first choice team though - I think he's cemented a place in all conditions for now, but I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with him coming in below four. I'd be tempted to open with Sanga and bat Mahela at three but Tharanga's done pretty well since his recall.. maybe Mahela can bat five?
Drop Mahela,
have no idea why he continues to get a free pass into the team, has a good game once every two years.

Impressive performance from SL. Thsara Perera is a real find. Hope Malinga and Prasad to get back to form. When Dilshan, Malinga, Prasad and Mathews are available, this will be an impressive lineup. Thinking where could Murali break in to this.

This Indian ODI team is one of the worst ODI teams ever to take the field and bench. It's so bad that the selectors themselves owe an explanation for this dreadful performance. While we admit that even the best of ODI players have a bad day or time, at least in one aspect of the game, but there are so many undeserving, misfit players in this ODI team, that you wonder, are the selectors really serious about maintaining ODI supremacy at all? This team shows no evidence of dominating even an exhibition tournament like this, let alone a Champions' Trophy or a World Cup. In comparison, you have a Lankan team that has all the right men for the job, and everyone has a clear role in the team. And so far, most of them have performed.

I wouldn't read too much into it tbh, the dew was a major factor in the match that contributed to the result. Could have been different if we had batted second.

athetic bowling attack though. ****ING NEHRA! DIE ALREADY! Tyagi should play ahead of him while he still has the form. Zaheer has been rusty ever since that injury and that isn't helping matters either.

Typical massive Indian over-exaggeration... "so many undeserving, misfit players"?

Gambhir? Sehwag? Yuvraj? Dhoni? Harbhajan? Zaheer?

Kohli? who just smashed a hundred in his last ODI innings?
Jadeja? who impressed against the Aussies?

This is in comparison to a Sri Lankan side which seems to change with every game at the moment? Can't see the logic here.

How much have these two sides played each other in the past few months? Must be so sick of each other.

Shakib choosing to bat first, despite the dew to come. Hope he knows what he's doing.
