Oops, was sure I'd looked through the entire list and not seen his name. In that case I'll select Kapil Dev. His bowling average is adversely affected by bad series against England and New Zealand post 1990, but hes still too valuable to pass up now.

This selection is all about team balance. In round 11 I have the first selection and Adam Gilchrist was looking like a pretty obvious decision. For the sake of team balance, I'm thinking that my selection now plus my first selection is round 11 is going to be better than Gilly and the next best available option. I'm thinking those without a keeper will be pleased.
My pick is Gilly's replacement Brad Haddin who in 21 matches has performed strongly and made the loss of Gilchrist quite minimal I feel.

Haha nah I was being honest. Now that I have a keeper there isn't a need to select Gilchrist, some of the batsman in the 00s are better, I might go for an extra quick now or spinner too, who knows lolEither that, or you're bluffing those without a keeper and Gilchrist is yours anyway.
