Interesting to see Kyle Jarvis listed as 'fast'. Ive never seen him bowl. Has anyone?

Also interesting that he has played 8 ODIs and only 1 other List A game. It surely cant be good for the International game to have players devoid of any intermediate experience.

Fast medium. Has a good action though.

No, but...

5.6
Jarvis to Kallis, no run, very good delivery to end off the over, quick and vouncy. 140km/h and Taibu takes the ball over his head.
7.1
Jarvis to Smith, 3 wides, bouncer, not a bad one either, 145km/h and bounces a bit too much. Flies over the keeper.

Attracting a big following this series, clearly.

Duminy has just registered his maiden ODI ton, ftr.
Yes, a whole seven posts. Surprised JP hadn't made a ton before tbh. Thought of him as more of a one-day than Test player.

I think JP is brill he played one season 4 exmouth as our overseas player when he was younger (no I am not lying) but this new guy? any1 heard of him he has a smooth action tho and has a bit of pace.

JP has actually been more suited to the longer format and hence his FC average of 53 and scoring 166 at the MCG in only his second test.

JP's always had the skill and talent to be a top class ODI player and in the last year or so he really has expressed himself and showed his wide range of attacking strokes.

What was evident when he came on the domestic scene as a 19-year-old was his hands and how brilliant they are when he is batting.

Seriously the next time you watch JP you must just watch the flexibilty and late adjustment of his hands to play a shot...its brilliant.

Couldn't watch the second match, but seems like we did a whole lot better in terms of the bowling than in the first, which is a relief.

Lopsy looks fantastic these days. Not quick but he looks unplayable. I think his left-arm angle and his height makes up for his lack of pace.

Didn't see much of the first game, but was nice to see McLaren pull the shirt on, finally.. I hope they don't see Morkel's bowling successes as anything to suggest that he is an adequate international bowler, the guy is a pie thrower of note..
