Afraid Mr Roach has got one prediction wrong. Haddin is starting to cut loose.

If you're relying on beating batsmen with big movement all the time, you're going to have more bad than good days, blokes like Ponting are going to monster you and you're going to wish you kept your mouth shut.

That said, if Roach is able to back up what he has said with wickets, good on him. He certainly does look very good.
What about the fact that he pretty much had him LBW twice?

Oh, and if you don't think that North pulls the ball, Taaahny Greig, then maybe you should watch - oh, I don't know - him play an innings before in Test cricket?!

    Haddin gone. Rampaul's 1st wicket.

Just when we look like kicking away the Windies keep jagging a wicket.

Haddin departs. Reckon we should really be pushing for 450+, pitch still looks good to bat on. Don't have too much faith in our bowling attack.

    I think Johnson missed that.

Looks a bit like those decisions are probably going to be harder to overturn than the lbw ones.

Reckon that it probably wasn't out to be honest. Needed to see the edge of the bat at some stage on the hot spot camera to see that it was completely blank, as it was facing away from the camera. Probably not enough evidence to overturn it, but expecting the complaints to start.

Blokes on radio suggesting they think he missed, but because of inconclusive evidence either way can see why the decision stood.

    Sound right?

The referral system will inevitably be attacked, with the fact that he would have been given out anyway conveniently ignored.

Yeah, perfect example there of why the referral system is stupid. Can't tell conclusively if it's out or not on those sorts of close catches. It probably wasn't out, but predictably all the replay shows is that he hit his pad and he may or may not have hit the ball, so the umpire's decision is always going to stand, regardless of whether or not it is correct, and we waste five minutes watching replays of it.

Just let the umpire make the decision that's going to stand anyway, and save the replays for things where it can actually be conclusive.
