State 12th Man
Just for the lulz I'll pick a Test XI with 10 specialist batsmen plus Gilly
1) Hayden
2) Greenidge
3) Ponting
4) Viv
5) Lara
6) SRT
7)
Chanderpaul
8) SR Waugh
9) Javed M
10) Border (c)
11) Gilly (w)
12th man P Patterson
Teams might score 700/3 declared against this team but there's also the chance that this team might rack up 1000.
Numbers 3 to 6 = the engine room. Then the stoic crew, 7 to 10, leading up to Gilly at 11.

Zoehrer behind the stumps is a frankly ridiculous selection.

Greg Dyer the clear choice.

Zoehrer finished up bowling leggies in WA, didn't he?
You got it. I feared my team was a bit light on bowling, and his (actually pretty decent) twirly stuff might have given some of the others the chance to put their feet up in the dressing room, stock up on Murray Mints, Jellybeans and diuretics, and mentally recharge by watching some videos from 1981 and 2005, while our crack supersub fielders, Messrs Pratt and Cantrell, stand in for them on the field of play

Not Terrible
I reckon Pollock ahead of Klusener in the T20 lineup. Cairns @ 6, Flintoff @ 7 and Pollock @ 8 is a lot of batting and you get one of the most economical bowlers in history in the lineup as well. Klusener might be just a little too much batting.
