There are not many West Indians who are happy with the showing of their cricket team in the ICC Champions trophy and many are boiling with rage that the best team was not selected even after the Bangladesh

However, there's little the Caribbean public and media can do at this stage to change things, because the WICB is not listening to them. The real failures are at the territorial level, because not one of the regional boards had the guts to challenge Julian Hunte, who was reelected UNOPPOSED at the WICB AGM in August....

Now, this is where the real WI fans need to take action. they need to vote out the current administrations in their boards in Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, etc, and put in place administrators with the guts to take on the likes of Hunte, and put them out of office for their incompetence.

I wonder to what extent the apparent complacency is borne out of the fact that despite a long history of internecine strife, disaster has always been avoided in the past.

West Indies are a dead team now. I dont see them recovering. They might aswell be dropped from test playing nations.

If the West Indies should be dropped from Test cricket for constantly self-destructing and having inter-necine strife, then so should Pakistan....

The WI have shown, with their 1-0 win at home to England, that they can still win a Test series. We just need the two parties to stop fighting, and to start working for the benefit of WIndies cricket.
