Bagapath, tbf he isn't in any way equating the word **** with Sachin

if you say so zaremba. "u know who" is an unnecessary term to refer to a player especially when "u know what" has been used to refer to **** 6 words before. ok. i will assume he didnt call sachin **** because he has said so himself. i am not a sachin fanatic. would have reacted the same way if warne or gilchrist or lara were referred like that and if their fans (i am one of them) are accused of being blind supporters. anyways, i dont think i spent too much time on that reference in my earlier post. and dont intend to from now on also.

this is one of the most decent forums on the net and definitely the best on cricket. i dont want new members to walk in with these wrong opinions and create unnecessary trouble

No, fair enough, and I now can see what you were getting at ("you know what... you know who").

I like lists that attempt to notate things which can realistically be notated. I hugely enjoy grouping players into categories, but when it comes to exact rankings it's plain silly and totally pointless IMO.

I suppose Barry Richards isn't on the list because he broke Bradmans domestic records in 1970-71?

Well I have and let me assure you he deserves all the accolades ever printed about him and deserves number one on all stats

Richards is an enigma Did run hot and cold and who knows where he would have ranked given the opportunity to continue his Test career. As for beating the Don's domestic record, that season he (Richards) played for South Australia probably produced his best Cricket of his FC career

I'd say more "pre-empting one stupid comment with another" myself TBH.
