Ok so Pup Clarke's absence should be marked? Cause this is getting slower and slower now :)
My understanding of the rules is that it's now GIMH's turn and PC can rejoin whenever he's back on CW.

So it's that pesky plastic Scouser holding us up now... :@ :p

Feeling distinctly unpatriotic, so time for a bit of pace for the death overs:

Darren Gough

Team so far:

1) Chris Gayle
5) Andrew Symonds
8) Lance Klusener
10) Darren Gough
11) Fanie de Villiers

No, honestly not. Was last minute decision to go for Dazzler, very nearly went for two other seamers, who I won't mention as people might still choose them.

Have been looking at statsguru on cricinfo tho, I must admit.

Haha. Oddly, I chose both Gough and Fanie in the mystery draft. Thought people would have forgotten those guys.

Eyes not spreadsheets
Personally, although I use lists of players to get a short-list, I then actually take into account players I have a preference for for one reason or another - may not get the best team, but it'd be a team I'd want to watch playing.

I genuinely try to balance the team. One of the other seamers I was considering was probably more of a containing bowler like de Villiers, so went for the extra strike power Gough would give me.

Plus the other seamer wasn't a pom either and felt I should have at least one.

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
I just decide who to pick from turn to turn really, except for Trescothick and Flintoff who I had pencilled in before the draft. I'll probably end up with a pretty crap team but it'll be mainly English players which can't be a bad thing. Got Harby in there as well just to outdo Brumby on the **** front.
