England would do well without them as well!

I dont understand why so much sweating over Kolpaks? Most of them are there for money and they are getting it...

I heard today that Kent have re-signed Van Jaarsveld, so I don't know what's going on there - unless he's going to play as the overseas player of course. I see no harm in the likes of him and Benkenstein remaining, they've relocated here and shown good commitment to their clubs. It's the ones who come and go and switch counties every couple of seasons that we can do without. Although I suppose that applies more to overseas players like Marcus 'Five Counties' North.

TT Boy said in the "Saffers in England" thread that van Jaarsveld has taken out UK citizenship, so he mightn't be a Kolpak anymore.

Yeah, he is ok. As is Claude Henderson who got his British passport this year.

Guys like Faf du Plessis are the ones who are in trouble. du Plessis unless he abandons South African cricket completely, won't get a visa for next year. Even Justin Kemp had to miss the early part of the season due to visa complications.
