I haven't seen too much test cricket in my lifetime, but of what I've seen:

    India v Australia (Laxman's 281)
    India v Pakistan (Kumble's 10 for)
New Zealand v West Indies (forgot most of the match but I remember Cairns's 7/27)

As you'll notice, most of my test match memories are made up of me remembering individual performances. Don't know why, but it happens.:P

Well thats right...that match back in 1999 at Hamilton between NZ & W.I

I wouldn't say it was the greatest of all time, but for entertainment it was probably a 10.

Brian Lara I think & several of the West Indian batsmen put NZ to the sword on Day One and got to 320 odd for 2 wickets then the next day NZ came back & rolled them for 360 & then proceeded to annihilate the W.I over the next 3 days.

Being as young as I am, I have missed many of the best Test Matches. Historically, I'm sure there are countless better ones, but this is the best I can do

I think you're mistaken. Campbell and Griffith put New Zealand to the sword on Day 1. Lara didn't bat until Day 2 I believe. We played some horrid shots on Day 2 and never recovered for the series.
Sreesanth said, "Next ball he was beaten and I said, 'is this the King Charles Lara? Who is this impostor, moving around nervously? I should have kept my mouth shut for the next ball - mind you, it was a length ball - Lara just pulled it over the church beyond the boundary! He is a true legend."

An Essex player, Nasser Hussain, gets a double century

My favourite England player, Graham Thorpe, gets a large century

Australia are bowled out for 118

My 2nd favourite England player, Michael Atherton, gets a fifty off just 65 balls

And we won by 9 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in an Ashes series.

marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

    A couple more...

    West Indies v Australia 3rd Test 1999
    Lara's 153* for a 1-wicket win.

    West Indies v Zimbabwe 1st Test 2000
Walsh, Ambrose, Rose and King bowled superbly to defend just over 100 against Zimbabwe at the Queen's Park Oval.

    West Indies v Zimbabwe 2nd Test 2000
Adams scored a century and Rose scored 69 as they put together that big partnership.

    West Indies v Pakistan 3rd (?) Test 2000
Adams scored 49* I believe to win by 1-wicket.
