*Official* Australia in England T20s and ODIs

Typical England, other team makes a contest of it so England immediately retaliate with some piss poor rubbish of their own.

Thought it would be done and dusted by the time after I got in, had to work late. Still, need a pole or four here.

If it was a T20 this would be in the bag and then some. For some reason since this is an ODI it's still close.

Not sure what possessed Australia to make a game of this.

Just patronising England's pop-gun attack.

Strauss still getting virtually every decision wrong. There's no point in leaving Broad or Sidebottom to bowl a 50th over that probably won't take place unless we take a wicket or two. And that certainly won't happen with Tiny Tim bowling.

EDIT
And sure enough, old Lardarse goes for 12 and the game's over. Congrats again to Aus for being competent.

Seriously, Graeme Swann should be in this ODI team. I know Rashid's going to be a talent in the future, but Swann surely should be in.
Swann averages under 30 with the ball, that's automatic selection regardless of what he bowls and what surface England is playing on. Should probably be playing two spinners in the Champions Trophy anyhow. India will have over 20+ overs of spin, South Africa too, Sri Lanka ditto and Pakistan will go in with at least three spinning options.

Even more so when you consider how poor our pace attack is.

Great chase. Been so long since we've done something like this. Great to have it under the belt before the CT. Ponting showing Sachin "Whatever you can do, I can do similar!"
