Shane Watson better than Sobers

Joke guys...

However good to see that Shane Watson is doing better than some other allrounder’s at the same time in their careers as the following list shows

After 10 Tests

S. Watson: 423 Runs @ 26.43, HS 78 and 14 wkts @ 37.21, BB 4-42
G. Sobers: 419 Runs @ 29.92, HS 64 and 12 wkts @ 35.00, BB 4-75
S. Waugh: 271 Runs @ 20.84, HS 74 and 17 wkts @ 30.41, BB 5-69
J. Kallis: 340 Runs @ 22.66, HS 101 and 11 wkts @ 30.00, BB 3-29
G. Giffen: 294 runs @ 19.60, HS 63 and 12 wkts @ 25.91, BB 4-38
A. Flintoff: 255 Runs @ 15.93, HS 42 and 7 wkts @ 66.42, BB 2-31

(Waugh included as he was picked as an allrounder which covers his first 10 Tests)

He took 10 years to play 10 tests though.

I knew that Flintoff had a slow start but hadn't realized it was that slow.

But clearly Watto is the greatest. The Ajit Agarkar replacement the world has been waiting for.

So after 10 Tests

S. Watson: 423 Runs @ 26.43, HS 78 and 14 wkts @ 37.21, BB 4-42

Can he stay ahead of Sobers….

After 11 Tests

G. Sobers: 502 Runs @ 31.37, HS 66 and 14 wkts @ 32.00, BB 4-75
S. Waugh: 350 Runs @ 26.92, HS 79* and 18 wkts @ 32.38, BB 5-69
J. Kallis: 405 Runs @ 23.82, HS 101 and 11 wkts @ 34.18, BB 3-29
A. Flintoff: 259 Runs @ 14.38, HS 42 and 9 wkts @ 58.22, BB 2-31

Oh yeah, I really don't want to look further into Flintoff’s career…no wonder he averages 32 with both bat and ball while being considered a legend, as he obviously improved a lot

Would be awesome if he can stay ahead of Sobers. 264* in the first innings at the Oval would be nice!
