Otago all out for 88! Can only imagine that the pitch is to blame for a lot of it. Feel sorry for Cumming who obviously gutsed it out for 42 but received no support.

Good to see Arnel do well as he could potentially be around the test side once Bond, Martin & O'Brien bow out. Even if Arnel's figures need to be taken with a large grain of salt.

ND's batting IMO equally fragile so could see something similar from them. A solid and snail-paced 50 from Flynn is in order.

Embarrassing, looks like Flem was right. Devcich isn't opening, which is sort of strange tbh.

Hopefully we get a good start anyhow, I wonder how Wagner will go now.

Looks like Nicol will open for the Cantabs.
Yeah there was an article on Stuff about that quite a while ago. It's a fresh start for him being at Canterbury and opening.

If he makes a success of it could be in the NZ team in no time, already having a decent record behind him.

ND and Wagners figures making batting look a lot easier. Myabe we were being harsh on ND, certainly we know Arnel can bowl.

Northern Districts at this rate are going to knock of Otago's score in less then 10 overs, maybe this pitch isn't as bad as we thought it was.

If its a fair pitch that would actualy be awesome considering Arnel is NZC contracted.
Well he's been the best (or one of the best) domestic bowlers for two or so years now, I'm not surprised at all tbh. He's always performed when he's played for NZ A also, he should be banging on the door IMO.

ND will be hoping he doesn't get injured. He'll be down the NZ pecking order a bit with the comebacks of the ICLs.

Why cricinfo is not providing live scores for NZ domestic season. I know they never did it, but they are doing for other countries regularly Is n't it?

Andrew de Boorder on a blocking spree, currently 16* off 60 balls

EDIT: Make that 16* off 66
