IPL Semis - which team will go through?

DD is through to the semis! Let's see how the other teams fare

1. CSK
In: if it wins one of its remaining two games against K11 and KKR
Out: if it loses both, DC beats BRC or if BRC wins its both

2. K11
In: If it beats CSK
Out: if it loses it

3. DC
In: if it beats BRC
Out: If it loses

4. BRC
In: If it win both its remaining games against DD and DC
Out: if it loses one

5. RR
In: If it beats KKR and
- If K11 loses to CSK, if K11 wins then it has to hope that DC loses to BRC and BRC beats DD .... Or if K11 and DC both lose their last games

So the Q is which 3 teams from the 5 above will join DD in the semis? [poll closes on May 20th]

RR

RR to beat KKR
Punjab to lose to CSK in a thriller
BRC to lose both their games

99% you can count Chennai in, realistically it is amongst the other 4 teams

here is how the race for semis stands after today's game

If k11 wins against CSK then
1. Delhi
2. winner of DC vs BRC
3. K11
4. CSK [for RR to get in, it will not only have to beat KKR but do something spectacular with its NRR]

if K11 loses against CSK and RR wins against KKR then
1. Delhi
2. CSK
3. winnner of DC vs BRC
4. RR

if K11 and RR both lose
1. Delhi
2. CSK
3. Winner of DC vs BRC
4. Loser of DC vs BRC or K11 [based on NRR]

RR seem to be in shambles, CSK should edge out K11 so I think the third option looks most likely, DC vs. BRC should be an awesome match as BRC are finally gaining a bit of momentum. Such a tight finish to the IPL, gotta love it when so many teams can still get into the semis even in the very last stages of the tournament.
