    English bowling's future

If it has the face of a Viking girl with blonde hair and over rated batting capabilities, then am sure it is pretty bleak.

lol, still think Anderson can improve to become a more dangerous prospect, though with his action consistent accuracy will always be a struggle.

Yeah they should just give up and hand over Ryan Sidebottom. Come on, you know you want to...

Well in fairness to Stuart Broad, he is still only 22 (he'll turn 23 during the Ashes) and the majority of people wo rate him aren't saying he's anywhere near the finished article.

People rate his batting because he seems to have a good technique. He'll have to improve his range of shots for sure if he's going to be a genuine allrounder. Remember, until his growth burst, he WAS a batsman. You don't suddenly forget how to bat.

In terms of bowling, again, he's only 22 and most bowlers aren't truly test level til around 25 years of age. I'm sure once he's fully grown and put on a bit of muscle he'll bowl around 86-87mph average speed with the odd ball going up to 90mph, that's fast enough IF you have very good control and can move the ball sideways. He already has a few variations so I wouldn't write him off.
