Why not have a 20-20 world league (2-3 year cycles)?

And use it to promote the game worldwide. One of the things I would do is have 2 divisions of 10 teams each with either 1-2 promotion/relegation. The 2nd division could be made up of countries like Scotland, Ireland, Holland, UAE, Kenya, Denmark, Canada, US, Bermuda, etc. It is always possible to add more teams to the second division.

I honestly believe 20-20 is the way to expand because non-cricketing countries simply find longer version puzzling and does not attract much attention in their media and of course, the fans.

If we do not act, sooner or later baseball will become the main bat and ball game in some of these countries.
