giles was far more economical

apart from the obvious, left armed-ness, oh and the finger spinner as opposed to wrist spinner.. i could go on

As it's been said, he didn't bowl that badly to begin with; but once they got after him... well you'd get the jitters too. That was horrid.

But yeh it will be his 1 and only game. Bring back Casson.

casson's just had a horrific season, good luck with that

i'd go for the four pronged pace attack plus north, and let mcgain start sleeping at nights again

Yeh didn't follow Casson's season much so... prob don't have the facts.

Had no problem with Krejza though. Took wickets. So did White. Neither may have looked convincing but you aren't going to get a world-dominant ready spinner at the moment.

North is nowhere near good enough to be a front-line spinner. Sorry. Katich; maybe.

Was ordered out of the NSW attack for beaming the opposition.

If you are good enough for one game then you are good enough for a second. Cant be judged on one attempt.

Poor guy.

Funny though :)

So for England's next Test they should pick Darren Pattinson and Amjad Khan?
If a selector thinks they are the best player (rather than emergancy cover) then the answer is, yes.

Those selections were terrible not not as laughable as selectors picking a player then changing their mind and then changing again.

Michael Clarke > any other spinner Australia has right now.

Why waste the space? Put another player in, and let Clarke bowl all the spin. Can't be any worse than McGain, surely.

His ongoing back problems the reason they aren't going for that, I think.

North, Katich and Clarke all have better first class records than Krejza.

In fact, Katich and Clarke also have better test records than Krejza.

Krejza is complete junk who got an incredible wicket haul on debut with the Indians looking to tonk him to next century.

If you think McGains 0-100 is unacceptable then you surely don't want Jason "100 runs per innings" Krejza in the team.

McGain is clearly choking out there - but he's a better bowler than that.

spinners can't all start as well as Warne  Great to see a team play so well after the horse has bolted!
