Well he had to make the Delhi first XI to start off with, before he got considered for a IPL contract. You know all the local players in IPL, play first class (List A) cricket.

What happened to kumar sarnia.
He was a big prospect for victoria. He went to india and he has never been heard of again.
Is he dead.
I thought he would play for victoria for sure.
Sarnia surely a lot better than blizzard.
For WA they must sign mitch marsh to a full contract an allrounder wa don't have he has a great future, and still could be lost to afl.
Have a few promising all-rounders in Porter and Coetzee to be fair. Don't think Marsh's bowling will be much kip at state level, either.

I would say the focus with Mitch Marsh is on his batting, not all-round skills. His batting in grade cricket this season has been fantastic, double century about a month ago. Hardly has a bowl anymore.

Guaranteed to pick up a full contract for next season. I'm sure his focus is still on cricket after signing up for a winter with the Centre of Excellence.

coetzee and orter are bowlers who can bat a little.
Bandy is an allrounder but had a horrendous year.
Dorpoulos is an allrounder but his bowlin has come to nothing.
Had more options when sean ervine was their.
Would like marsh to be a success, more likely to be offered a rookie contract tho.

Dave warner not picked for the final game of the season, would say he will be switching states now, especially since dom thornley came out today and said he is not ready to play first class cricket.
He has been typecasted by NSW selectors, expect greg shipperd to strike over the winter when warner is at the dehli daredevils

Talk was that he was going to take a sabbatical before playing cricket again. Don't know exactly what he's up to though.

I actually feel for the poor kid. He was just too green for international ODI/Test cricket and placing him in the ODI side must have shattered his confidence. Whirlwind two months for him.

According to the west aussie paper WA to target dave hussey and umar gul for next season.
Good picks if they can get them both.

Wouldn't be too surprised if a few of the Pakistani players were picked up by the sides on a full time basis.

Also, Hussey has been trying to get back to W.A. for a few seasons now.

Hussey would deadset be the best buy off the off season from the Australian domestic cricketers. He is such a good batsmen, and if Roy is 'mentally' fit he will get into the Australian side (or at least the one day side) before Hussey, so he is pretty much guaranteed a full season playing for WA.

And as has been mentioned, I expect a few Australian clubs to grab a few Pakistani players, seeing as they won't be playing many more tests anytime soon.

The overseas experiment was an absolute success this season; expect more of the same next year. Didn't get the feeling they where taking the place of more deserving youngsters.

Younis Khan must have been a great influence down at the Adelaide Oval. Shown to the younger SA batsmen what it is to be a professional cricketer. Played a couple of cracking knocks in his time there too.

The 20/20 bunch also did well. Umar Gul second highest wicket taker in the competition, hardly a surprise WA are chasing him for a full season at the WACA.

A number of Pakistan players would fit in nicely for some of the state teams. Hopefully see more of the likes of Khan, Gul, Tanvir perhaps even Malik.
