***Official***Australian Domestic Season Thread 2009/2010

Noble One

International Vice-Captain
No doubt Chris Simpson will be back next season. You don't drop the captain who took the team to the final. Until the pressure comes from another couple of batsman and Queensland start to lose games then Simpson is safe.

He was hardly the sole Queenslander who went missing in the final. Bring Love out of retirement I say.

Can they do a RoboCop like thing with Love and keep him going forever? Best performer in Shield finals for QLD ever.

QLD have been known to think outside the box on previous occasions, so wouldn't be surprised if they do drop Simpson from the 4Day side, especially if they think Hartley is up to the task.

Should we change this to the aussie off season thread.
It has some of the off season issues here.
Plus there is an A series later in the year and the emerging series in july.
BTW australia under 19 cancelled a tour to the west indies replaced by srilanka.

Andre

International Regular
Not particularly quick, but relentlessly accurate and moves the ball enough to cause trouble.

Has a massive engine though, will bowl all day without giving anything away.

Can bat a bit too.
Re: Copeland before his FC debut. Dig
