But you would,have expected, and indeed I remember you actually saying you did expect, Muttiah to take shedloads of wickets. What was unclear about your side was whether anyone would actually step up and share the load with him - Fanie doing so has been the difference between Murali making your team competive while still unsuccessful, and a top team.
And we're very disappointed by this.
The thing about Schultz compared to PDeV, Nel and M Morkel was that they all had low number of Tests. After the top three and the rest of South Africa bowlers hadn't played many Tests. I think I only went for PDeV was cus I thought he was a lot better then his stats showed and he had similar injuries. Shocked how effective he was been. I thought we wouldn't be able to take 20 wickets, but it been out strength. We have wickets everywhere it just runs that sometimes don't come.
I think you guys are selling Goughy short he been brillant too when the other have had off days. Having three performing bowlers compared to most sides having two so far, has been the big difference.And we're very disappointed by this.
