So Chaminda picks just one player now? And does he have to select his New Zealand players first or can they be at any time?

Chaminda picks his Test player and one day player who can be the same though don't have to be.

Also he can choose when he selects his New Zealand players, there is no order into when you chose your 3 home nation players and you can do so whenever you like (when it is your turn).

Basically all you have to do is make sure they debuted in 79 or after (I miss Imran ) and that you pick 3 of your nation, 1 from each top 7 and 1 from a minnow.

Edit: Also when you select a player for Tests he is still available to others in ODI's and vice versa (unless you select him for both)

Should hopefully force people out of their comfort zones and should hopefully see some early aggressive picking strategies as talent pools could dry up fast!

So are we picking one team which will play both tests and ODIs? Or a team for tests and a separate team, according to the same conditions, for one dayers?

Two teams, one for Tests and a separate one for ODI's but according to the same conditions. Should be interesting to see how much the teams differ.

Your final XI's must have 3 kiwis in each though you may only pick one player on each turn (one in each format though).

Every other person must also select one kiwi in their team.

So you can't have a player and select him for both Tests and ODIs?

Things are in shambles!

Nag, think I get it now, should be interesting, and quite complicated. Just disappointed I've got a damn minnow.

You can, but you have to state that you are selecting them in both forms.

Haha yeah I knew it'd be a bit tricky at first, I reckon by limiting it from 79-present we get a pretty even player base besides perhaps a slightly superior Australia.

Dire but predictable start by Chaminda considering he picked Murali first in the Test Draft.
