Wahab Riaz was bound to be back some time..just goes to show the lack of options in the pace department now.. But at least the lollypop bowlers like Cheema are gone too..

haha...yeah Riaz is awful was seriously offended with some of the fast bowling talent at display during the recently concluded Faysal Bank Cup. The most barren period ever for fast bowlers in our cricketing history.

Inzamam is batting consultant now.. earlier PCB was looking for a full time batting coach..

So you have a batting coach, a bowling coach and a fielding coach..

Can someone please tell me what Dav Whatmore's job is? analysing stats from Cricinfo?

Teams still use the word "coach" but in today's game I think "manager" would be far more appropriate. Most international teams do have three specialist technical coaches under their head coach; it's not a unique thing.

I have always believed and argued that Pakistan needs three specialist coaches for batting, bowling and fielding respectively!! However I don't think Whatmore is the answer to any of the three..and if the head coach is just a manager..then I can think of a lot of people who can do that job..heck even Mohsin Khan could have done that at half the salary!!

The selectors have announced a decent squad for SA. Haris Sohail and Irfan called up. Also Khatmal out and Sarfaraz in.
