As stupid it may sound, why is it such a mess? In that it is easy to say corruption or putting their own self interests first, but more at trying to understand Pakistani culture or way of thinking. Not meant to sound patronising, but trying to get to the core of the matter and understand why things happen and the reasoning behind it.

I have heard Imran Khan say in the past that given he is 100% concentrated on his political career, he doesn't want take much of a serious role in PAK cricket. But i don't know, i reckon they someone of his stature to really be involved in their cricket.
As a cricket fan its piss-poor seeing PAK looking this shaky. |

That would essentially be the final nail in the coffin for Pakistan Cricket, at least on the International level. It is because of the support of the BCCI that Pakistan even gets to play the few series that they do. The series against India are the most financially lucrative and prevent the PCB from going bankrutp. I know that BCCI also gets a guaranteed vote in return for that support, but Pakistan needs India more than the other way around. Besides, it was the Indian government’s decision to not allow the tour, not the BCCI’s.

I doubt it. The new PCB administration almost seems to be bucking India over the ICL bans, so it's doubtful they would cave in for this. Besides, I don’t think Miandad at PCB is even an issue for BCCI. At least I’ve not read anything from BCCI protesting his appointment.

EDIT: Saw your point re: Ijaz Butt. Could be an ego hassle, I suppose. |

In organization like PCB most of the appointments are based on contacts and favouritism, those who are appointed are most of the time incompetent, egoistic self centered idiots. So when it comes to decision making time they all try their best to screw things as much as possible. |

![]() The Dawood-Miandad Marriage If you really think Miandad is not a terrorist sympathiser after reading that article, I don't know what to say. This is my last post on this topic of Miandad/Dawood because it makes me physically ill to talk about it. |
