Well R_Powell_fan has inspired me to start this thread. only this is poetic humour. n e topic ideas would be gr8. and also everybody should try and join in with a poem or 2. i'll kick start it with this 1:

All-Rounder

A topic of debate
Some are bad some are great
one name rings a bell
the one from hell
he was picked
his spot will soon be knicked

i speak of clarke
a hero of marc
a young lad
who's driving us mad
can't bowl
can't roll?
for he certainly can;t throw
his bat average is low

so why's he there?
do we even care?
of course not
we just want him got
rid of fast
he's not gonna last

Get him out
we all shout
should we give him a go?
HELL NO!
sorry son ur none
i think this poem and maybe his career is done?

It's very good. I am sure this will inspire Marc to write a poem about his hero

umpires reviewed his action and said :

but by banning the guy, the wrong message is sent."
In retrospect, he's loved by his mum,
so despite the fact he's vilified by some....
