Marcus Trescothick talks to the BBC - NOW on BBC1

masterblaster

International Captain
It aired in Australia here on the BBC World News Channel at around 10am. I was flicking channels this morning and caught the program as it was starting. It was a fairly detailed and entertaining interview and Marcus came across pretty well. It's sad that a player of his calibre is not playing international cricket but I admire him for the way he's fought with his depression and how he is trying to make his life better.

What a great time to show the program and to post: 2:30AM...
 (and that's a literal "sleep" BTW)

Incidentally, I was given Tresco's (unghosted) autobio for Xmas, and it should be an interesting read. For the same reasons as Graham Thorpe's was - less about the cricket in a cricket career as how a cricket career can cut you to shreds if you're unlucky.
