Pskov I don't think it is your turn yet if tbh.

Matt up first, then Joe, then Simon and then your lovely self.

I got confused with the test draft where I was picking after Goughy.

Not a huge fan of a concept of a twelve man, but hey, if that's what we're doing. I'd probably not change my actual XI ever, but if I did, it would be to include another spinner I can use if the conditions are right.

There's a guy who bowled a useful of slow stuff that could be handy. It helps that he was ok in the field and knew one end of a bat from another.

    Garry Sobers.

Are you on some sort of mission to sabotage my entire selection process?

I was wondering when someone was going to pick Sobers - sure, he only played one ODI and scored a duck but he fits the selection critera and there are worse players to choose...

Thought it would be taking the piss to pick him in the XI, but if nothing else, he was a gun fieldsman.

I almost picked him in the first round. Decided against it in the end because I thought it would be too controversial.

Thats GI Joes 12 hours up, so it's my pick.
For my 12th man I'm taking Anthony Stuart. The former Australian quick played three one day internationals in January 1997. He starred in his final match taking 5/26 including a hat trick, unfortunately he was never seen again. The main reason I'm picking him is due to his links with the Canberra Comets as he played a season with us in 2000
    In his 3 ODI's Stuart claimed 8 wickets @ 13.62.

    Final Team
    1 Nick Knight (100 ODIs - 3637 runs @ 40.41 sr 71.52)
    2 Neil Johnson (48 ODIs - 1679 runs @ 36.50 sr 70.2 & 35 wickets @ 34.85)
    3 Mark Waugh (244 ODIs - 8500 runs @ 39.35 sr 76.9 & 85 wickets @ 34.56)
    4 Nathan Astle (223 ODIs - 7090 runs @ 34.92 sr 72.64 & 99 wickets @ 38.47)
    5 Roger Twose (87 ODIs - 2717 runs @ 38.81 sr 75.4 & 4 wickets @ 58.75)
    6 Robin Smith (71 ODIs - 2419 runs @ 39.01 sr 69.65)
    7 Imran Khan* (175 ODIs - 3709 runs @ 33.41 sr 72.65 & 182 wickets @ 26.61)
    8 Moin Khan+ (219 ODIs - 3266 runs @ 23.00 sr 81.30 - 287 dismissals)
    9 Wasim Akram (356 ODIs - 3717 runs @ 16.52 sr 88.33 & 502 wickets @ 23.52)
    10 Shane Warne (194 ODIs - 1018 runs @ 13.05 sr 72.04 & 293 wickets @ 25.73)
    11 Darren Gough (159 ODIs - 609 runs @ 12.42 sr 64.3 & 235 wickets @ 26.42)

    12th Man: Anthony Stuart (3 ODIs - 1 run @ 1 sr 14.27 & 8 wickets @ 13.62)

He's coaching Wellington these days, for the record.

pskov's 12 hours up long ago...

    So, I pick Romesh Kaluwitharana

And I decide to take him in the first XI as specialist wicketkeeper pushing AB de Villiers as the 12th man initially...Kalu was a decent aggressive batsman up the order...He'll be opening with Haynes...With 132 catches and 75 stumpings, he comes across as a good keeper against both pace and spin. Moreover, his long experience of keeping to Muralitharan earn him a place in the playing XI as a specialist wicketkeeper...And de Villiers will be a gun as a 12th man...He's a very goos aggressive batsman, so he can come in the XI when a batsman (except Miandad and Haynes) is out of form...He can also come in place of Kalu as a keeper when Kalu goes out of form...And we all know that he's an electrifying fielder, so that makes him a very good choice as a 12th man...And I never wanted a bowling option as my 12th man since my bowling attack is well-equipped for any pitch conditions, be it spinning or not...

    My Full Team -

    Romesh Kaluwitharana (wk)
    Desmond Haynes
    Ross Taylor
    Javed Miandad (c)
    Saleem Malik
    Shoaib Malik
    Chris Cairns
    Ian Bishop
    Curtly Ambrose
    Courtney Walsh
    Muttiah Muralitharan

    12th Man -

    AB de Villiers

    Shane Watson
    Justin Kemp
    Farveez Maharoof

    Joel Garner
