Well we have them, but theres some sort of conspiracy preventing them from playing....
Exactly! Rob Turner seems to have completely forgotten how to score in one-dayers, but yes, I have to admit, Gazzard has proven himself :D

Liam:- This is the test:
WI vs. IND in WI, 2nd Test

Chaderpaul's intention was to save the test and draw or shield the tailenders after all the specialist batsmen got out,
IMO what he did was the right thing to do..... and thus I was against the nickname 'Turtle' for him.
What I was saying in earlier post was that the people who thought he should've gone for it are those who called him by the nickname.

I reckon he wasn't trying to draw the match, I think he was shielding the tailenders whilst scoring runs with two's and singles at the end of the overs, some ppl. thought he should've tried to smash the remaining 20-30 runs that were left to win the match.
Oh yeh, I remember that Test. I thought that you were referring to a drawn Test. I think that one can hardly blame Chanders for the loss...

As I recall, he was run out around 50 but given not out in a poor third umpiring decision.

What about Ian "Botham" Bell?
What a talented bowler! And he can score some useful runs with the bat too.

Yeah I didn't realise his dad Bobby (also a ML great in his day) was battling cancer. Understandable if he is performing slightly below par (not that that seems to be the case).
He hit another last night - his 18 or 19 I believe.

Attention.....

New nickname, hot off the press.

Normally, people with the surname 'Clark' or 'Clarke' are automatically given the nickname 'Nobby'.

However, in the case of our NB Rikki (New Botham) I would suggest 'Knob' is sufficient.

That is all.

You can't say that!

My namesake (Bonds) has 19 but as we approach the half way stage of the season (~2 weeks) much more than 50 looks out of the question, and that's for pretty much anyone.

Actually he was not out on 67 off 164 balls......
Um..you may want to read over what I posted - he was run out around 50 but given not out in a poor third umpiring decision. I know that he ended not out...

I think Adam Dunn has a decent shot at 50+ and don't underestimate Sammy and Bonds. Even though Sosa's out of it right now, he can hit'em for days if he gets hot.

Oh I get it "I'm staff, I can do whatever I want" :P

Yeah a few guys will probably get going a bit more in the second half. In fact during lat night's game (ATL v PHI) it was suggested the week off would do Sammy good. He'd been in a rut during May and early June.

Dunn and Delgado lead with 22 atm. Delgado has probably been the hottest hitter so far this year and Toronto have been a surprise package. Bonds has 19 but Sammy hasn't even hit double figures and it would be immense if he broke 50 from here, even by his standards!

Learns quick, does our Bazza.

No, Barrie, it doesn't work like that. As staff, we have to be squeaky-clean, above reproach even, and there is no way that any one of us would stoop so low as to get involved in controversy and take cheap shots at anyone.

Hey, I'm really getting the hang of this 'Lie Mode'.

Delgado has almost had a fan in me and Toronto's resurgence this year has rekindled my passion for the them. The Blue Jays were the first team that I followed. Halladay's an ace...

Sammy crushed one 460odd feet last night and it left a dent in the metal rail.
:wow:
