Hoping Cumming makes a few big scores just in time for the WIndies, just quietly...
That would mean the end for your man Aaron Redmond though, wouldn't it?

Has Neil Wagner played a game yet? I'm interested to see how he gets on...

Yep, and he hit a classy 50 earlier today too. If he performs well he might be back in the Black Caps for the Windies tour.

If Redmond does well against Australia, worthy enough of retaining his spot (at least 1 score of 50+ in each test) then I'll be happy.
If he's dire, gets dropped, and replaced by CUmming, I'll be happy.

All other solutions means I'll kill myself. More news at 11!

Cool. :) Hope he does well.

When will van Wyk or Johannes Myburgh play/qualify for New Zealand, 09?
Not entirely sure, but it wont matter too much, Myburgh can't even make the Canterbury lineup at the moment and Van Wyk won't replace McCullum.

Did you abuse whoever dropped him? I would have. I get furious when people drop catches off my bowling...my mate dropped a dolly at cover off my bowling, I was captain so I relegated him to number 8 in the order

Oh, and is he keeping in club cricket? He looked like a woeful keeper in the U19 WC.

Nah, its not such a good look to lose your nut in front of Auckland selectors, haha.

Yea I'm pretty sure he's still keeping for Cornwall. And yes, he is, lol. If he was still under 19 now I'd rate him as the 4th keeper-batsman, behind Cachopa, Bracewell and Austin-Smellie.

Myburgh isn't playing for canterbury at the moment because he's injured, not because he was dropped. He batted well in the first match, scoring 67.

And I wouldn't be at all surprised if McCullum gives up the gloves to focus on being a specialist batsman, especially if he continues to have back problems.
