Ponting may have a good record playing these guys yea. But thats not the issue is it?. Its his ability to play these spinners on a turning tracking consistently & confidently, & outside SRI 99 he hasn't done that.

Trust me, he's always batted that way. Hasn't been bowled around his legs yet, though. More of a nicker.

I know he has batted like that all his life, but his habit of playing the balls while he is on the move is going to get him in trouble against decent bowling.
