He averaged barely 40 and had a terrible year for us and wasnt even our first choice.

Plenty of domestic players from the 'broad acres' that could be worth a place.

I think PF was going by the 'greatest cricketer' criteria rather than those who had performed best for their side.

Still, there has to be a slightly different perspective and Tendulkar doesnt enter the discussion when talking about 'Greatest Yorkshire Cricketer'

Also, the fact that Yorkshire didnt really want him (Craig McDermott was first choice) kind of questions his greatness in this regard.
