I know it's your list and there is nothing wrong with it, just that Bukhari is hardly upcoming and that's he's to wayward and a slogger...

International Captain
Tanmay Mishra (Kenya)
Greg Thompson (Ireland)
Richie Berrington (Scotland)
Calum McLeod (Scotland)
Karun Jethi (Canada)
Stefan Kelly (Bermuda)

Mishra has played 28 ODIs but he's still only 21 and very much the 'baby' of an ageing side. One of the few in the current team to have any realistic chance of playing Tests at some stage.

Pity Mishra's been MIA since the T20 World Cup in SA. Obanda is the new prodigy

Varaiya and Obanda seem the obvious choices from Kenya for me.

Interesting to look at Varaiya's ODI bowling stats so far:
avg: 19.58 Econ: 3.51 Strike rate: 33.4

compared with Vettori:
avg:31.71 Econ 4.17 SR 45.5

and Murali:
avg: 22.85 Econ: 3.87 SR: 35.4

Considering he has only played 23 ODIs, this may not mean much yet, but it is a pretty handy start none the less. Stats from cricinfo.
This is an Associate player I believe could truly prove himself World Class if given the opportunity.

Apologies about Richard mode, but...

Varaiya vs Bermuda, Canada, Holland, Ireland and Scotland:

31 wickets @ 15.96, economy 3.20, strike rate 29.9

Varaiya vs Bangladesh, England and New Zealand:

18 overs, no wicket for 112, economy 6.22

The poll has started. Morgan couldn't be added in the poll as he stopped playing for Ireland for some time now...

Do people, from Test playing countries, really follow whats happening in these countries or do you just look up stats on the various sites ?

Believe me 'following what's happening once it a non test team involved is far less easy than it appears
