Obviously hope Scotland get through. With Coetzer there, along with a big hitter like Ryan Watson and an ex county bowler in Blain, then Scotland could have a chance. Ireland, unfortunately, look pretty strong with the likes of Morgan and O'Brien.

I hope that at least Setanta have the good sense to prefer indigenous cricket players over Ausi rules mathes occuring on theother side of the world this time:dry:

The Nation have been pretty good in the lead up running the ICC press releases. Not much other interest from the Kenyan media as far as I can gather

interesting to see Aga preferred with the new ball over Ongondo. Not a great first over from him.

Aga mixed it up quite effectively in the one warm up game I saw. Also Tony Suji is preffered over Nemi. The Dutch now 62/1 and Kenya showin and unhealthy dpendence on Odoyo and Varaiya

In other news it seems Setanta would rather broadcast AFL than this,

Well given Setanta is onf the major broadcasters in Ireland you would expect a tournament where Irealnd are not only hosting, have direct interest in having the national team participating as one of the tournament favourites that it would get priority over some domestic comepetition on the other side of the world that is not even played in Ireland. Unfortunately that is not the case

Netherlands 134/4 after 17 overs.

Kamande was not too bad either. We are looking like we will need to chase about 160 odd, which should be doable with the batting line up.

better second spell from Aga - Still haven't got used to using that term when a spell may only be 2 overs in this format!

Kenya need 154 to win - a good half century from RDT, glad we still got him out, even if it was in the last over

71 needed off the last 7 overs. Tikolo and Odoyo at the crease. could be a tight finish at the rate things are going.

Odoyo gone as well. It is beginning to look as though this will go the way of the Dutch :(
No one seems able to step up with the bat and score more than ones and twos.

Why on Earth was Tony Suji in the starting XI?!?!

He was not used as a bowler and is set to come in at number 10!
A complete waste when you have David Obuya who could have come in at 3 and given a much stronger batting line up.

24 needed off the last over. Can't see it happening. Not happy
