England's world champion side of 1998

Haha, Ian Flanagan, Nick Wilton and Jonathan Powell.

A few of the worst county cricketers of my time.

Laraman and Logan were pretty awful too.

Dinesh Ramdin - West Indies wicketkeeper.
Kirk Edwards - Talented batsman, but hasn't done enough to keep a place for Barbados.
Xavier Marshall - West Indies opening batsman.
Tishan Maraj - Perhaps the best batsman of the bunch, but gave up cricket to study medicine.
Lendl Simmons - T&T opening batsman/occasional wicketkeeper. Played briefly for WI.
Assad Fudadin - Was very impressed with this left-hander, but hasn't done enough for Guyana yet.
Liam Sebastien - Good player, who has gotten more mature recently. Will probably play for West Indies in future.
Ravi Rampaul - West Indies ODI bowler. Fixture in the T&T (and Ireland) side.
Mervin Matthew - Haven't seen him properly.
Rishi Bachan - Useful left-armer, but never seemed anything special.
Lionel Baker - Too inconsistent. Probably won't amount to much.
Barrington Yearwood - Haven't seen him properly.
Jonathan Augustus - Talented, but doesn't seem to play cricket anymore. Just disappeared.
Zamal Khan - Haven't seen him properly.

4/14. Surprising, given the West Indies situation of late.
Great name though.

Yep. Makes you wonder how we won it!

Michael Gough was a bit of a waste. I hear he's an umpire now or something at only 28 years old? You just have to wonder how well he might have done if he had loved the game and stayed with it.

Yeah always liked the look of Gough, shame he never kicked-on.

Jonathan Lewis and him was a good opening partnership for a time.

He became a First-Class Umpire aged just 26 in 2006. At the time Wizden (sic) thought he might be the youngest to stand in a First-Class match in the UK.

Can't see more than four or five of India U19 WC2007 getting even one cap for India.
