ICC needs to crack down on the ammount of foreigners trying to qualify for england,not good for the windies,south africa and the european clubs.

ICC cant do anything about it. European law is pretty solid in this regard. Even FIFA cant do anything about it and they are ultimately more powerful than the ICC.

I heard that the Kolpak ruling was going to be addressed later this year. But I suppose it's wishful thinking that anything significant will come of it.

An address has already been made - someone has ruled that the local authorities (in this case, the ECB) are free to make their own rulings.

All that remains is for the ECB to decide what they're going to do. If they say "no Kolpaks", that's what'll happen.

And TBH, that's what I hope.

Dwayne Smith is possibly the most frustrating player to have on your hands. He's not terrible, but as we often see, he seems to have too many brain explosions (like this specialist batsman from India) to play a meaningful innings. The West Indians surely have two better players in Gayle and Bravo, and he shouldn't make the starting XI now, but he's not one of those players you can dispense with so quickly. There have been more useless players who have got caps for WI in the time he's played.
