Surprised it hadn't been mentioned but here you go. Goughy (and Hingston) probably know more then what I do so I'll let them in to give their views. Or anybody else is quite welcome :p

It seems like a good step, however Neil Manthorp says that they have decided to reserve a selection seat for a black African. If this person is just going to be used to push the same agenda as Arendse did, not that they necessarily will, then it isn't that much of a change. It is still less power than a veto though, at least there's that.

If the specified "black African" seat is given to someone who has knowledge of and feel for the game of cricket, it's an excellent decision. If he's just a political activist, obviously it's idiocy.
