I'd have thought that if a second all-rounder were needed in addition to Sobers it would be Learie Constantine rather than Bravo?

He wasn't talking about Bravo as he presently is though. He was talking about if Bravo achieved a 40 batting average and 30 bowling average. A big "if", mind you.
