Against One day cricket?

Test cricket is unpredictable because it spans five days. T20 cricket is unpredictable because it ends in three hours.

ODI's, unfortunately, are still in the 'win-the-toss-win-the-match' mode, making them predictable in the 30th over of the match.

Like watching all forms of cricket, but if I had to choose which one I like the least it would have to be 2020. Its over too quickly and there can be a lot of very uneven contests.

Dunno, I actually wonder if the opposite might happen, as there'd be no danger of one being mistaken for the other. The amount of overlap of skill between Twenty20 and Test is negligable, so there'd be less of one game impacting on the other.

If ODIs continue for the next 10 years, I'll be surprised if Twenty20 doesn't make an impact on them, and likewise I'll be surprised if that doesn't knock-on to Tests (as to an extent it already has over the last two decades, though not IMO the extent some claim).

But if Twenty20 became the only limited-overs game-form, I think it would completely lose the power (if that's the right word) to impact upon how Tests were played.
Yup, this is what I think. There will be a lot more specialist T20 players for sure. And some of the top class guys may just reserve themselves for tests and IPL type T20 just for the money (but no international duties).

Like both T20 and ODI and don't really prefer either, reckon both can be great or dull tbh. Do think T20s will become more popular though, but ODIs won't phase out, T20 WC will be worth more £££ in a few years mind.
