Edit: I've removed my explanation for leaving inzy out since it is wrong reasoning as steve has moved ahead of him in the race. all i can say is, please dont vote for steve waugh in this poll. he is probably going to make it at 5

Symonds is the clear standout...

as much as people hate him here...

Average of 96.25 striking @ 93.90 says **** off, no.6 in the world cup dream XI is mine bitches.

why is steve waugh in the poll?

hes already in the team.

Anyway Symonds, obvious choice. He dominated Pakistan in 2003 and hasnt looked back from there

Symonds isnt "classy" but he is brute force.

Bevan couldnt hit boundaries like Symonds does.

Can't believe I'm voting against Bevan being included in a one-day team, but especially when you are comparing WC performances rather than overall career, Symonds is the man. More explosive, and since he's matured, quite capable of mounting a rescue. Plus he's a much better fielder and also a better bowling option.
