why is steve waugh in the poll?

hes already in the team.

Anyway Symonds, obvious choice. He dominated Pakistan in 2003 and hasnt looked back from there

Can't believe I'm voting against Bevan being included in a one-day team, but especially when you are comparing WC performances rather than overall career, Symonds is the man. More explosive, and since he's matured, quite capable of mounting a rescue. Plus he's a much better fielder and also a better bowling option.

Yeah, even I voted for Symonds, which says a lot. I'd definitely pick Bevan ahead of him if we were just picking an all-time ODI XI, but Symonds has been better in World Cups and that's the criteria.
