The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

Where's the option for "flicked off the pads along the ground to square leg". So i can put Mark Waugh in.

    The Cut - Damien Martyn
The Straight Drive - Stephen Fleming
    The Pull - Jamie How
The Forward Defence - Rahul Dravid
The Ramp Shot either goes to Robin Uthappa or Brendon McCullum.

    Hmm...let's see:

The Late cut - Damien Martyn
The Cut - A multitude of players, really (Chris Gayle, Adam Gilchrist, Sanath Jayasuriya, et. al)
The Square drive - Sourav Ganguly (although his square drive has always struck me as more of a 'backward-square drive')
The *Cover drive - Michael Hussey
    The *Off Drive - (hmm...)
The *Straight Drive - Matthew Hayden
    The *On Drive - (hmm...)
    The Pull - Ricky Ponting
    The Hook - Ricky Ponting
The Leg Glance - VVS Laxman
    The Sweep - Matthew Hayden
The Forward Defence - Sachin Tendulkar

    And the unorthodox

The Reverse Sweep - Jonty Rhodes
The Scoop - Brendon McCullum/Hamish Marshall (they're the two main proponents...)
The Ramp - ...hmm, I've only seen a few players do this, so I'm not gonna say (Adam Gilchrist and Sachin Tendulkar being amongst them)

Well I adore Marto's late cut, his cut (both so deliciously wristy) and his back foot cover/square drive is just technical perfection. The Ponting pull shot obviously and the Laxman wristy on drive/flick.
'It is hard to recall a batsman quite so serene, so unrushed, so unflappable.' Chris Ryan on ... look to the left. Ahhhh.

Off the top of my head and with whichever player springs to mind.

The Late cut- Len Hutton (different class with this shot)
The Cut- Robin Smith and Lara
    The Square drive- Alec Stewart
    The *Cover drive- Vaughan
    The *Off Drive-
    The *Straight Drive- Gooch
    The *On Drive- Tendulkar
    The Pull- Ponting
    The Hook-
    The Leg Glance- Mohammad Azharuddin
    The Sweep
The Forward Defence - KP. Massive stride and head over the ball

    And the unorthodox

The Reverse Sweep- hmm too many
    The Scoop- Heino Kuhn
    The Ramp- Shane Warne

Ill have a think and maybe expand and add more to the gaps.

Clearly biased towards the players Ive seen a lot of but also shows how good certain English players were in some areas only to fall down in others

Don't know how anyone can go past Hayden for the straight drive. Best in the business.

Andy Flower deserves a mention for the best reverse sweeper ever in the game. He wasn't bad on the orthodox sweep either.
    There's only one Dimitri Mascarenhas!!!
